Jacat Stoeterye is sowat 70km oos van Gobabis langs die Transkalahari hoofweg. Ons is in die hart van "Cattle Country". Die Simmentaler stoet se eerste koeie het vroeg in Augustus 1969 vanaf Duitsland op Walvisbaai voet aan wal gesit. Later is die bekende llwo Stoet van Mnr Wolfi Schiersmidt gekoop, wat toe van Jacat Stoeterye die grootste Simmentaler Stoet in die suidelike halfrond gemaak het. Die Simmentaler-getalle is later verminder om plek te maak vir die ander stoeterye,naamlik Charolais, Simbra en Rooi Angus. In 1978 is daar ook begin met 'n Charolais Stoet. Die koeie was afkomstig van Kurt Kronsbein en oom Strydom van der Watt. In 1996 is die eerste Simbra kalwers van Brahman bulle en Simmentaler koeie gebore. In 2000 is die eerste Rooi Angus-kalwers by Jacat Stoeterye gebore. Ons strewe is om hoogs vrugbare, veld aangepaste beeste te teel. Daarom is ons besonders trots op ons toekennings wat oor die jare verwerf is vir reproduksie (vrugbaarheid), ster koeie en goeie skou-uitslae.
